The Friends of the West Liberty Public Library lend helping hands and willingly give time and support to the West Liberty Public Library.
OUR HISTORY
In January 1992, concerned citizens met and formed the official non-profit organization "Friends of the West Liberty Public Library" to ensure that our library services would continue far into the future. The Friends of the Library actively joined the community in accomplishing the dream of a state of the art library. This dream became a reality in March 2000 with the renovation and expansion of the original library.
Our Goal
The goal of the Friends of the Library is simple: to promote the interest and welfare of the West Liberty Public Library as a cultural, educational, and recreational asset of the City of West Liberty. To achieve this goal, we hold book/bake sales, utilize other fund raising methods, and promote volunteerism.
Our Members
Our members come from all sectors of the community - individuals, students, families, and businesses that share the goal of protecting and promoting the Library and its services.
